COACH Faith Based Prison Ministry
Mr. Dixon visits the local prisons and offers spiritual counseling and self-improvement to local inmates. He has assisted many inmates in furthering their education and looks forward to continuing the great progress he has made thus far.
Through this he is hoping that they can become productive citzens and give back to the community through education.
Project Choice
Students making the right choice hope to achieve success free of drugs, alcohol and early pregnancy.
In an enviroment rampant with drug use and alcohol abuse, teen pregnacy, student attrition and high juvenile crimeactivity, it is critical that students make decisions that will positively effect their lives both now and in the future. Project Choice is committed to the continuing education of those "at risk" children, to help them make the decisions that will effect their futures so greatly.
This program has been in operation for 8 years. Children from K-9 grades attend sessions weekly for homework assistance, character building exercises and substance abuse prevention counseling.
The philosophy of "Project Choice" is based on a universial premise that the childs total human enviroment must be treated in a holistic manner to build and modify a young persons character and to help them become a successful contributing member of society.
